Dr. Tamar Lisa Apelian
Dr. Apelian formed A.M.P. Autism in 2015 with one goal in mind – to offer the same advanced-level of expertise that the larger, institution clinics provide, but at the greater level of personal care, accessibility, and affordability that you can only get with a small clinic. In other words, A.M.P. Autism provides large clinic expertise, with small clinic accessibility.
Dr. Apelian achieved her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University (2006), an APA-accredited doctoral program and also completed her APA-accredited internship at the Child and Family Guidance Center (CFGC). When she is not evaluating, advocating, and treating the needs of those facing developmental and psychological challenges, she enjoys practicing yoga and ballet, eating sushi, and playing with her mixed sheltie/shih tzu dogs.
